International Education Specialist
Cultivating Meaningful Connections
MY BIO
As a professional in higher education, I dedicate myself to a student-focused advising approach that focuses on achieving positive student outcomes. My objective is to help students strike a balance between their academic, professional, and personal lives, so that they might enjoy holistic wellbeing as they begin their careers.
With a focus on international education, I am committed to combining my passions for language-learning, intercultural competence, and education abroad to inform my professional path. I find myself at my happiest in abroad contexts and am excited to explore career opportunities in the field that will challenge me and afford me the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
While my current position is not specific to education abroad, I anticipate working closely with students who decide to take their language skills to the next level by studying a language where it lives and breathes. At Wayne State College, I work closely with international students who are adjusting to life in the United States and the American educational system. This has been an extremely rewarding experience as I prepare to work exclusively with students who are studying abroad.
At the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey, I have continued to develop the skills listed below, and have cultivated entirely new skills that have lead me down paths I had not previously considered. Thank you for visiting my site and please do not hesitate to contact me below!
